Job Purpose:
As a Visual Product Designer, you will drive the creation of beautiful, accessible, and effective visual solutions across our product suite. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining visual design systems, crafting high-fidelity UI components, and producing illustrations that bring our user experiences to life. Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with engineering to ensure visual quality and consistency across products, challenging design limitations where needed.
+ Produce high-quality visual designs, illustrations, and iconography that define the visual language for our products.
+ Create wireframes, journey maps, and prototypes to support interaction and visual design.
+ Participate in product UX improvements by developing interaction models and acting as a liaison between users and products.
+ Clearly communicate and present your visual design work and learnings to peers and managers, advocating for user needs and design excellence.
+ Work with creative team members, program managers, and developers to define product features and deliver compelling design results.
+ Contribute to and help evolve our visual design system, ensuring scalability and accessibility.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design
OR
+ Equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service design
OR
+ Master’s Degree in above fields AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design
OR
+ Equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)
+ 2+ years experience shipping products, services, or games and/or delivering to customers as a result of an end-to-end design process
+ Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in visual design, UI polish, and illustration for digital products
+ Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and illustration tools
Product Design IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
