Responsibilities

The Administrator in Training -- AIT is a position that provides a career track to become a licensed nursing home administrator (NHA). The AIT works under the direction of Nursing Home Administrator/Preceptor to receive practical on-the-job training and mentorship in a skilled nursing center.

*Observe and/or participate fully in all aspects leading a nursing center such as family conferences, team meetings, new employee orientation, clinical care conferences, financial and labor management, etc.

*Provide the nursing center management team with regular support, feedback, and information regarding how the nursing center operates and how it can improve.

*Attend regional meetings, conferences, and workshops with Preceptor.

*Participate in task groups, work groups and other events with region-wide or company-wide impact.

*Develop special projects that add value to the nursing center and defend project processes and outcomes.

*CNA Certification Requirement: All AITs must complete a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class during the program. Completion and validation of the CNA class is required before graduation from the program.

Qualifications

*Bachelor's Degree is required.

*Must be working towards obtaining a Nursing Home Administrator license.

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.

Posted Salary Range

USD $60,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
