Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Physician and Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Recruiter, under the direction of the Physician & APC Recruitment Manager, is responsible for the successful recruitment of physicians and selected advanced practice clinicians to Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS). This includes but is not limited to sourcing, screening and management of interviews, referencing, overseeing pre-credentialing and background checks, negotiating employment/contract offers, support with the onboarding process and providing immigration assistance. This position also requires a comfort level working with all levels of organizational leadership, e.g. service line administrators, service line medical directors, vice presidents, the executive director, etc.

This position requires occasional onsite work at various MCHS locations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

_For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._

**Minimum Required:** Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Health Care Administration, Communications, or Psychology (or closely related field). An Associate degree requires the obtaining of a bachelor’s degree within two years of starting in the position.

**Preferred/Optional:** None

EXPERIENCE

**Minimum Required:** Experience or working knowledge of employment practices with an aptitude for interviewing, sales, and public speaking.

Preferred/Optional:** Preference for knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to recruitment and employment of physicians and advanced practice clinicians, licensure, credentialing and immigration law. Two years or more previous experience recruiting physicians **.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

_The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position._

**Minimum Required:** Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

**Preferred/Optional:** Certified Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP) certification from the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR).
