Job Summary
Auburn University Housing (https://universityhousing.auburn.edu/) **is excited to begin the search for a Housing Ambassador Graphic Designer!** This individual will work with a variety of Housing staff to conceive and produce a variety of well-designed print and digital marketing materials that engage/resonate with target audiences. Students who are Graphic Design majors are encouraged to apply.
This position will primarily work during regular business hours (M-F, 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.) for 15 to 20 hours per week.
Essential Functions
+ Develop graphics and visual (or video) images for website and social media as well as print brochures, fliers, banners, yard signs, social media display ads, and promotional materials
+ Develop rough sketches and work on layouts ready for publication
+ Incorporate changes recommended by AU Housing staff into the final design
+ Take photographs for our website, print materials, and social media outlets
+ Stay updated on Auburn’s brand guidelines and requirements

+ This position directly reports to the Marketing Graduate Assistant (MGA )

Minimum Qualifications
+ Candidates must be an enrolled as an Auburn University student and have a 2.5GPA or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Ability to work independently and in collaboration with various professional staff
+ Familiarity with Adobe Dreamweaver and universal web design
+ Skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
+ Familiarity with Auburn’s brand
+ Experience living on campus is a plus but is not a requirement for applying
Pay Rate
$10.75/hour
