We are searching for the best talent for a Analyst Deliver Excel to be in San Jose, CA.
Purpose:
Responsible for analyzing and interpreting data and providing logistics information to aid cost effective, efficient, timely and high-quality logistics solutions.
Developing individual contributor, who works under close supervision. Administers assistance of the supply chain Deliver Excellence team to implement cross-functional, operationally-driven end-to-end supply chain solutions, incorporating planning and data optimization as well as carrier selection, dispatch, and execution aligned with customer's specific supply chain needs and requirements. Assists in the arrangement and agenda for comprehensive follow-up milestone reviews with customers to review key performance measures against mutually-agreed upon goals, to validate a high level of supply chain delivery success.
Assists with advanced end-to-end supply chain planning and execution project plans for core customer setup initiatives, including national provider identifier projects, demand consolidation, supply chain parameters and thresholds, production planning, and raw materials analysis, in preparation for final delivery.
Contributes to purchase order management and associated supplier and vendor relationships to provide key support for new product development and launch, collaborating closely with procurement and sourcing to integrate those initiatives into the supply chain end-to-end delivery solution.
Collects project progress around core team member and supply chain partner activity to escalate to management, to ensure that demand, supply, and capacity plans and processes comply with the company’s supply chain standards and protocol.
Collects information relative to data integrity and accuracy related to systems databases, including enterprise resource planning and master data management systems, to ensure that systems meet the customer’s specific needs and requirements for supply chain delivery excellence.
Drafts supply chain solution recommendations to management for process improvements as well as ideas for ongoing quality checks and balances.
Assists management in reviewing customer-specific supply chain delivery solutions to provide analysis and recommendations for final tailoring and refining to ensure delivery excellence.
Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
You will be responsible for:
+ Collect data on every step of the supply chain, from receipt to delivery, create dashboards and maintain databases to safely store information.
+ Analyze all steps of the supply chain. This includes reviewing statistical data and transportation routes to identify ways to streamline logistics and maximize company profits.
+ Monitor shipments and trace shipment routes, as required, to ensure that the most efficient shipping and delivery methods are used for shipment delivery.
+ Responsible for developing and maintaining cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models
+ Execute day to day processes and perform data management applying a combination of data mining, data modeling, and data analysis; cost/benefit analysis and/or problem analysis
+ Undertake ad-hoc queries and maintain reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs to support the business
+ Responsible for conducting analysis and creating reports and presentations of weekly and monthly KPIs and forecasts
+ Actively participate in transportation alignment and tracking performance /costs
+ Correct freight settlement documents to ensure the proper accruing of freight
+ Estimate distribution costs for new business opportunities-indirect/direct freight
+ Responsible for performing cost comparisons against various scenarios and options
+ Clearly communicate to senior leaders (both internal and external), suppliers and customers.
Qualifications / Requirements:
+ Education: BA Degree or 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics or customer service; or equivalent combination of education and experience. However, Bachelor’s degree is preferred
+ Knowledge: Strong financial acumen – the ability to utilize fundamental concepts of finance to manage budgets, forecast costs, and provide relevant information for decision-making.
+ They may also require experience with Six Sigma (https://jobdescriptionandresumeexamples.com/best-lean-six-sigma-green-belt-certification-course) or other process improvement methodology
+ Computer
+ Skills :Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). However, possessing advanced knowledge and experience with any of these is desired: Tableau, Visio, Pivot Tables.
+ Creative thinking ability: It is essential that they can demonstrate originality and imagination in thinking while developing a solution to a problem
+ Communication skills: Communicate clearly both orally and in writing, and present technical information clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings and audience
+ Customer service skills: Customer focused – applicant must think and act from customer perspective
+ Detail-orientation: Ability to provide holistic solutions and approach problems systematically and develop scalable solutions
+ Flexibility: Ability to function in a highly dynamic, fast paced environment

+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills: Able to clarify and resolve complex business issues by breaking them down into meaningful components to determine root cause, and to redesign internal and external business processes where necessary. It is vital to be able to determine the root cause of an issue, and to constructively articulate a potential redesign of internal and external business processes, where necessary. Ability to approach problems systematically and develop scalable solutions

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $61,000 to $97,750.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
+ Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
