Amergis Educational Staffing is actively hiring a Sign Language Interpreter in Mount Airy, NC!

Details :

+ Start date: ASAP

+ Contract Length: 2025 - 26 School Year, potential to extend

+ 4th grade student

+ 1:1 services

+ Monday-Friday, 37.5 hrs/week

+ Weekly pay!

Requirements :

+ Associate’s degree in interpreting or a related field and must meet 20 hours of professional learning related to interpreting/transliterating annually

+ Must have one of the 2 license/tests:

+ National Interpreter Certification (NIC) through Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)

+ Educational Interpreting Proficiency Assessment (EIPA) with a score of 3.5 or higher

+ Experience working in an educational setting preferred
