    JOB INFORMATION:

    o Reason for coverage: 1 FTEcovering 2 hospitals. They need 1-2 Radiologist to help with coverage andvacation.

    o Support staff: RadiologyPhysician assistants help with IR procedures, Reading room assistants, theyhave a nighthawk service that assists after hours.

    ? Dates needed: Octoberforward coverage during the week

    o Shift Schedule/hours: 8:00am-5:00 pm )(8hrs of work with 1 hr unpaid lunch in between)Weeknight call isovernight carrying a beeper- consists of consults and very rarely do they haveto go in. The full-time IR said he gets called in once a month on average. Theyare open to candidates that do not want to do weekend call.

    o Coverage Dates: As soon asCredentialed 1-2 Weeks a month.

    o Job requires minimalavailably: 1-2 weeks a month.

    ? Daily expectations:

    o Volumes/ Modalities: 50% IR(5-6 procedures per day), 50-60 diagnostic reads (5-10 CT, the rest is x-ray,ultrasound, and general readings). The client can work around any diagnosticstudies the candidate is not capable of reading.

    ? Pertinent Informationregarding opportunity: They do all reading out of the Dover Location. Must beproficient in all the following procedures: Bone biopsy, neph tube exchange,liver biopsies, angiogram. If a candidate is versed in light IR procedures,they will work around the complex procedures. Facility will consider a GeneralRadiologist that can do light IR. The IR docs will cover the more complexprocedures.
