Function of Position:
Monroe Community College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Swim & Dive Coach to lead our swim and dive team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering the growth of student-athletes, promoting sportsmanship, and building a competitive, inclusive, and team-focused environment.
Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Plan, organize, and conduct effective swim and dive practices and meets
+ Teach proper stroke technique, diving form, and conditioning
+ Develop both individual and team strategies to enhance performance
+ Foster a positive team culture emphasizing discipline, responsibility, and teamwork
+ Ensure the safety of all athletes during practices and competitions
+ Maintain equipment and facility organization
+ Coordinate meet schedules, travel, and team logistics
+ Communicate regularly with athletes and administration
+ Comply with all NJCAA, school, and governing body rules and regulations

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
+ Prior coaching experience (club, high school, or collegiate level)
+ Knowledge of competitive swim and dive techniques and training
+ CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard Certification (or ability to obtain)
+ Strong leadership and communication skills
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in physical education, sports management, or a related field
+ USA Swimming or NFHS coaching certification
Additional Information:
Salary: $13,000
Job Type: Part-time
