    Our Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) are the heart of our organization!     Responsibilities

    + Perform ongoing evaluation of patient’s functional status

    + Teach and/or retrain patient’s skills in daily activities

    + Provide instruction to patient’s family/caregiver on treatment regimen

    + Follow treatment program and goals for improved patient function as advised by the Registered Occupational Therapist

    + Maintain appropriate clinical records and submit documentation

    + Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements

    + Additional responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications

    + Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant education program accredited by ACOTE

    + NBCOT certified with current licensure to practice in state of operation

    + 1+ year COTA experience

    + Home health experience preferred

    + Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
