    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Financial Systems Support Analyst to join their team for a hybrid position near Harlem, NY for a direct hire opportunity. This resource will be supporting the accounting and finance functions by administering the banks general ledger platform as well as overseeing system driven reporting and coordinating the budgeting process. You’ll be responsible for maintaining CECL model inputs and workflows ensuring reconciliation and balancing of the bank is performed. You’ll be the subject matter expert on the financial systems and reporting automation to ensure data integrity system optimization and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. This resource will need to be familiar with Jack Henry systems, like Silverlake GL system and Cognos experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Budgeting and Forecasting

    • Lead the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to collect and input financial assumptions.

    • Maintain and update budgeting tools (e.g., Excel models, Profitstars budgeting software).

    • Track actual vs. budgeted performance and develop variance analysis reports for management.

    • Assist in multi-year forecasting and scenario modeling.

    2. General Ledger System Administration

    • Administer and maintain the Silverlake general ledger system and chart of accounts.

    • Develop Custom Cognos reports as needed.

    • Troubleshoot data integrity issues between core banking systems (e.g., Jack Henry Silverlake) and the GL.

    • Provide training and documentation to finance users on general ledger procedures and reporting.

    3. Regulatory Reporting

    • Prepare or assist in the preparation of the quarterly FFIEC Call Report and other OCC/FDIC-required regulatory reports, utilizing core system interface

    Skills and Requirements

     

    3-5 years as a systems analyst within financial or banking services

    Cognos experience

    Jack Henry system software experience - (Silverlake)

     

    Experience with general ledger structures

     

    Budgeting systems experience (profitstars) Bachelor's Degree

     

    Community banking or credit union experience

     

    Experienced with internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) and regulatory audit requirements
