    Job Description

    Our client is looking for a Profressional Certified Rhapsody Developer to work a 5-6 month contract. Our client is undertaking a strategic initiative to rebuild and realign 13 custom HL7 interfaces from scratch, transitioning from a replicated database architecture to a cloud-based environment.

     

    This role will focus on designing, developing, and deploying HL7 interfaces using Rhapsody middleware, integrating data from HST into the internal data warehouse. The engineer will also act as a technical liaison with vendors, coordinate meetings, and support interface configuration and certification.

    Key Responsibilities

    -Design and build HL7 interfaces using Rhapsody to support cloud-based data integration.

     

    -Rebuild custom interfaces from scratch to align with HST’s cloud infrastructure.

     

    -Configure and certify inbound/outbound Rhapsody connections.

     

    -Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to manage interface schedules and go-lives.

     

    -Troubleshoot and QA interface performance and data flow.

     

    -Support interface documentation and configuration tracking.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -3+ years of experience designing, building, and testing HL7 interfaces.

     

    -Rhapsody Certification (Professional level required).

     

    -Strong understanding of HL7 messages: ADT, SIU, ORM, ORU, RDE, MDM.

     

    -Experience with cloud-based integration environments.

     

    -Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, SQL.

     

    -Ability to act as a technical PM and coordinate across multiple vendors. -Experience with HST, Provation, Surgical Notes, and ASC environments.

     

    -Familiarity with API-based integrations and direct interfacing.

     

    -Experience converting data formats (e.g., EML to HL7).
