Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a qualified Audiologist in support of one of our clients in Chesapeake, VA. This candidate will be responsible for responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing hearing and auditory processing disorders. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:
- Perform routine and follow-up hearing screenings for students across school sites.
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations to assess hearing and auditory processing.
- Administer tympanometry to evaluate middle ear function and detect fluid or pressure issues.
- Provide consultation on FM systems and Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) to staff and families.
- Fit and verify FM/ALD systems, including performing Real Ear Measurements to ensure optimal amplification.
- Take impressions and manage orders for custom earmolds for students using hearing aids or ALDs.
- Conduct electroacoustic analysis and Real Ear Measures (REM) to assess device performance.
- Use otoacoustic emission testing to screen for cochlear function, especially in younger children.
- Offer telephone consultations and record reviews to support student evaluations and care coordination.
- Manage the ordering and inventory of FM/ALD equipment and hearing aids, ensuring timely delivery and setup.
Compensation: $34.50/hr. to $39.90/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
- Audiological licensure in the State of Virginia
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program
- Experience with FM/ Assistive Listening Devices - Experience working with children as young as 1 years old or experience working within a school
