Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Business Technology team, supporting the implementation of new mortgage technologies and the ongoing enhancement of internal platforms. A typical day will involve facilitating conversations with business users to gather requirements, documenting solutions that leverage the Mortgage Cadence Platform (MCP), and supporting workflow automation across the mortgage loan lifecycle. This person will be responsible for writing business requirement documents (BRDs), test cases, and performing light system configuration and data analysis. They’ll also support user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborate closely with developers, system analysts, PMO, product strategy, and senior operations leadership. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the mortgage process and experience working with enterprise lending applications. This is a direct hire position with compensation of $70K-$94K/year.

Skills and Requirements
Strong understanding of the mortgage loan lifecycle: origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and post-close
Experience documenting business and technical requirements, including BRDs and test cases
Familiarity with product and pricing eligibility, rules engines, workflow design, data import/export, document imaging, loan fees, underwriting conditions, and disclosures
Ability to convert business requirements into effective workflow documentation
Experience supporting QA and UAT, including defect reporting
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams and vendor partnerships Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
Experience with Mortgage Cadence Platform (MCP) preferred
Experience in end-to-end implementation of enterprise lending applications preferred
