    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Data Architect for a full-time opportunity with a large Banking client in the Mt. Laurel, NJ area. This Architect will join a team that is focusing on a large technology modernization effort, and help the Bank move from a number of legacy Data Warehousing platforms to multiple cloud-based platforms. The person should be comfortable with modernizing a large enterprise environment, and interact with stakeholder across the business to effectively implement changes from a data standpoint. The client is utilizing Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, PowerBI and Tableau, as well as Unity for Data Governance. Additionally, they are int he process of moving away from their current ETL tool, Alteryx, and is looking for this person to have the experience moving from one ETL tool to another. This Architect must be a big-picture thinker, with ability to anticipate architectural gaps and identify emerging trends through both advanced business acumen and highly specialized technical knowledge. They will be assigned to work autonomously on high profile, complex and/or high-risk technology projects with significant impact to the organization.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 7+ years' Data Architecture experience

     

    - Banking/Financial Services background

     

    - Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factor

     

    - Experience with Unity for Data Governance

     

    - Strong Data Mesh experience

     

    - Experience with ETL tools (Alteryx and/or Microsoft Fabric)

     

    - Experience moving large enterprise environments off legacy Data Warehouse platforms - Experience migrating from Alteryx to new ETL tool
