    Job Description

    A local retail client in Seattle, WA is looking for a senior software engineer. You manage standups, JIRA tasks, and team updates. You engage in stakeholder management to understand requirements and lead junior engineers. You handle design, development, testing, documentation, data analysis, and provide on-call support during working hours. You design, develop, and maintain advanced software systems while upholding high standards for code quality, testing, and automation. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, mentor junior developers, and support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with expertise in system design, architecture, and building enterprise-level applications

    • Proficiency: Java (required), React (very nice to have), Python(very nice to have)

    • Frameworks: Spring Boot

    • RESTful architecture and microservices

    • Messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, SQS)

    • Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

    • Kubernetes, Lambda (preferred)

    • CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Terraform)

    • Test automation (Unit, Integration, Regression, Load)

    • Experience in relational & non-relational databases such as PostGres, Dynamo

     

    Logging and monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Splunk)
