    BAE is a matrix organization with a well established Human Resources Shared Services delivery model. We are high performing, and growing team, seeking a dynamic Employee Relations professional to complement our Greenlawn New York, Site. The ideal candidate will have two years of HR Generalist experience including one year of solid Employee Relations focus. This position partners with the local site leadership team in helping to drive efforts in the areas of positive and proactive employee relations, performance management and site culture within a respectful workplace.

    Responsibilities of this role include:

    + Local, day-to-day HR support with a focus on employee relations. This includes conducting thorough and timely investigations for assigned employee and management community (fact-finding, counseling, tracking, follow through, providing appropriate recommendations, closure, etc.

    + Counsel employees and management; recommending course of action based on employment law, corporate policy, company practices and procedures and business needs.

    + Deliver guidance and counsel on subjects such as performance management, corrective actions, change management, employee leaves of absence, accommodations, Worker s Compensation, etc.; drive to conclusion as appropriate.

    + Advise and support management in the implementation and delivery of HR programs.

    + Champion the company s commitment to site initiatives including diversity & inclusion; wellness; security, safety, etc. focusing on employee engagement and Company culture.

    + Other projects as assigned.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + 2 to 4 years HR experience with at least 1 year of proven Employee Relations experience.

    + Ability to communicate confidently and effectively, both orally and in writing

    + Proven decision making using sound judgment while complying with applicable policies, procedures, principles and Local, State and Federal laws and regulations.

    + Ability to build strong relationships and exhibit sound interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution

    + Proficiency in MS Office Suite and working with an Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Experience working within a shared services HR delivery model.

    + Experience working in a large matrix organization.

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $88533 - $150507

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
