### Job Duties
The Senior Program Associate is responsible for coordination, outreach and implementation of African American Babies Coalition projects and initiatives. The Associate will work closely with the African American Babies Coalition Program Director and team of four.
Project Support and Coordination – Coordination and project management of activities ranging from logistical meeting arrangements, to recruitment of community members, to development of training. Oversight of collaborative activities and coordination of community outreach and evaluation materials – as well as related administrative tasks, i.e. making copies, purchasing supplies, scheduling meetings, etc. (40-50%)
Facilitation – Provide facilitation, when needed, for planning meetings, team meetings, collaborative and coalition meetings, trainings, and community engagement sessions. (10-15%)
Engagement – Build strong, supportive relationships with community members, organizational partners, and community leaders. Recruit collaborative members, paraprofessionals, pregnant and parenting community members, service providers, etc. to take part in African American Babies Coalition activities. Stay informed of related trends, models and approaches being developed in relevant fields and communities. (30-40%)
### Minimum Education Required

### Minimum Experience Required
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, excellent coordination, program administration and project management skills. Must be able to function in diverse settings and with people at a variety of learning levels, familiarity with statewide demographics. Be self-motivated and able to work independently, is detail oriented, organized and adaptable, able to think strategically and provide big picture perspective.
