Description
As our **Reliability Studies Engineer II** , you will have the opportunity to conduct power system analysis studies that support MISO’s generation interconnection process. Additionally, you will coordinate and interact with interconnection customers and transmission owners, engage in process improvement initiatives, and project management, and take ownership of specific processes.
Within your first year as our **Reliability Studies Engineer II** , you will know you are successful if you:
+ Administer simulations and technical analyses effectively.
+ Begin to become emersed in our study processes.
+ Prepare and deliver relevant communications and data to our customers.
+ Make contributions to our already highly functional team.
Our **Reliability Studies Engineer II** requires:
+ A bachelor’s degree or higher in one of several engineering disciplines (see qualifying degrees below).
+ At least two (2) years’ experience related power system planning, operations experience, or related field.
While not required, it would be advantageous to possess:
+ Specific experience within any of the following: PSS/E, MUST, TARA, TSAT, and VSAT.
+ Previous energy industry experience.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $96,000-$113,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.

+ Bachelors or better in Computer Engineering
+ Bachelors or better in Electrical Engineering Technology

+ Bachelors or better in Electrical Engineering
Experience
Required
