    **Schedule:** Monday-Friday from 8am to 4:30pm; on call needed

    The role you'll contribute:

    Performs various clinical and administrative tasks to support healthcare providers in delivering patient-centered,

    high-quality care like taking vital signs, administering medications, collecting lab specimens, assisting with

    diagnostic tests and procedures, sterilizing medical equipment, etc. Provides basic patient care such as bathing,

     

    grooming, and feeding patients, assisting with patient mobility, providing emotional support to patients and their

     

    families, scheduling appointments and ensuring patient safety.

    The value you'll bring to the team:

    Facilitates room turn over and set up for all cases in the cath lab using sterile technique

     

    Provides side by side support to the physician during cases

     

    Able to monitor cases appropriately using the EMR and hemodynamic system.

     

    Assesses and maintains the necessary supplies for the different cases performed and communicates to the lead

     

    RT or materials management when items need to be ordered.

     

    Captures and enters appropriate charges for each case

     

    Reconciles billing for historical cases

     

    Assists other team members to facilitate the daily workflow for the day which may include patient transport and

     

    other necessary duties.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

    Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Required

     

    Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and

     

    applicable state and federal regulations.

    Required

    Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and

     

    recommends updates or refinements as warranted.

    Required

    Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Required

     

    Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and

     

    nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.

    Required

    Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards. Required

     

    Basic EKG interpretation Preferred

     

    Knowledge of electrophysiology diagnostic procedures Preferred

     

    RCIS/RCES Preferred

     

    ARRT, Vascular Interventional Preferred

    Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Required

    1 years of experience Preferred

    0 - 2 years required Required
