    _Savannah, GA | Full-Time Consultant (12 Months) | $60/hr. | First Shift (7 AM – 4 PM)_

     

    PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a skilled **Manufacturing Engineer** . In this role, you’ll help shape the future of aircraft production by improving processes, designing innovative tooling solutions, and driving efficiency across the manufacturing floor. Your expertise will directly impact quality, safety, and productivity in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing processes that bring aerospace designs to life. From collaborating with operators on the floor to designing fixtures in 3D CAD, you’ll ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop production routing and detailed manufacturing drawings.

    + Utilize 3D CAD software (CATIA or similar) to design fixtures and tools.

    + Analyze current processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.

    + Collaborate with operators to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges.

    + Develop and document SOPs, work instructions, and process flowcharts.

    + Conduct time studies to optimize production cycles and eliminate bottlenecks.

    + Apply lean principles (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to streamline workflows.

    + Support quality initiatives, including root cause analysis and defect prevention.

    + Promote and uphold a safe, compliant working environment.

     

    What You Bring

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

    + Proficiency with 3D CAD software (CATIA or equivalent).

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

    **Pay Details:** $60.00 per hour
