    Systems Engineer – Drive Advanced Aerospace Solutions!

     

    **PDS Tech Commercial** is seeking an experienced **Systems Engineer** to join our client **Honeywell** in **Clearwater, FL** . In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and managing complex systems for the **Embedded GPS/INS product line** . You’ll work within cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity, compliance, and performance across the full lifecycle.

     

    What You’ll Do

    As a **Systems Engineer** , you will:

    + Facilitate the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware and software components.

    + Execute complex engineering projects and guide system deployment and configuration.

    + Provide technical guidance to resolve system issues and minimize downtime.

    + Perform requirements management, technical risk management, and system integration activities.

    + Develop **System Verification test cases/scripts** and execute testing for complex electronic hardware requirements.

    + Support major design reviews (SRR, PDR, TRR, CDR, FCA/PCA, TIMs) with internal and external customers.

    + Collaborate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Integrated Program Teams (IPTs).

     

    What We’re Looking For

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics.

    + 7+ years of experience in systems engineering and project guidance.

    + Strong knowledge of systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Software Engineering.

    + Experience with **DOORS** , MBSE, MATLAB, and Simulink.

    + Familiarity with navigation and sensor products (gyroscopes, accelerometers).

    + Knowledge of the Systems Engineering “V” model.

    + Strong communication and leadership skills.
