    OnePSS Digital Manufacturing Specialist

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Act as the global business digital specialist for AWS OEE, Optimized Corn Drying (OCD), Shift Handover platforms among other digital areas of interaction with the regions

    + Propose and conducting programs and initiatives for continuous efficiency improvement initiatives under guidance of Global OnePSS Digital unit, partnering with IT organization

    + Create business cases outlining outcomes and business impact to secure digital investments in collaboration with the regions and other L3 organizations within Bayer

    + Drive intake and prioritization discussions around pull of digital initiatives across regions and functions within the Manufacturing Facilities space listed above.

    + Track sustain issues related to Manufacturing Operations Management for CS PS, including contacts with external companies. Act as a Technical Specialist for Production Enterprise systems addressing potential escalations of high-profile issues.

    + Engage on external collaborations to keeps up to date with industry trends to ensure the Digital capabilities remain at the forefront of innovation

    WHO YOU ARE

    + Degree in a relevant field of Digital Manufacturing discipline or IT related degree with extensive years of experience combined experience in Product Supply RC and CP, Manufacturing, Science and Data Science

    + Ability to work and influence in an intercultural and multidisciplinary environment, e.g. proven by foreign project assignments, working in a global network of production sites and engineering disciplines and taking a leadership role for digital and manufacturing data initiatives

    + Creative problem solver, enable digital solutions for sites operational improvements, translating the technical digital approach to the business real needs

    + Experience in product supply, information technology and global manufacturing process

    + Reports directly to the Unit Lead of Global OnePSS team with tight integration with: Operational Excellence and Capability Building), Regional Digital Teams, PCT Regional and Experts, IT Product/Delivery Teams, CSF, CPI, SPI and external suppliers

    + Fluent in English. German and Spanish are a plus

     

    Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $122,996.80 - $184,495.20 Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
