Starting Wage $20.04

2nd Shift 2:30p - 11p

5 Days per week

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Load product into brine cages in a timely and orderly fashion maximizing use of cage space and no damage to product

+ Inspect cheese for non-conforming product, remove such product, return to rework in a timely manner

+ Keep correct count of cheese on each layer of the cage

+ Perform housekeeping duties as required

+ Assist with form changes and table operations

+ Assist with rework as needed

+ Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion

+ Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment.

+ Check and remove any leftover product in cage shelves before loading.

+ Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment.

+ Disassemble equipment for CIP and reassemble when finished.

+ Change and clean brine filters as needed.

+ Assist in training of new personnel.

+ Assist in other production areas as required.

+ Minimize water usage and eliminate the generation of wastewater within the scope of position.

+ Follow all DFA GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements

+ Perform related duties as assigned.

+ Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

_Education and Experience_

+ High School Diploma or GED required

_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities_

+ Ability to use commercial English, grammar, and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, including decimals and fractions.

+ Must be able to read, write and speak English.
