About the Team
The Walmart Academy Learning team is dedicated to helping associates build confidence and competence in their roles through creating dynamic learning solutions. We collaborate closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality training that drives performance and supports business goals. As a key member of this team, you’ll help bridge learning gaps and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
What you’ll do:
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders across stores, supply chain, and campus teams to drive outcomes through engaging experiences.
+ Conduct needs assessments and translate stakeholder input into actionable learning objectives and content strategies.
+ Design and develop engaging learning content for both asynchronous and in-person delivery, applying instructional design principles to create impactful experiences.
+ Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to help you deliver an engaging experience through video, imagery, and writing, while ensuring content accuracy and relevance.
+ Manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of learning solutions.
+ Review and test learning content for usability, accessibility, and effectiveness, incorporating feedback to drive continuous improvement.
+ Monitor learning outcomes, recommend enhancements based on data and insights, and ensure all content aligns with brand standards and compliance requirements.
What you’ll bring:
+ Deep knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory, with a track record of developing effective training solutions.
+ Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable learning strategies.
+ Experience in content development and multimedia production, using authoring tools and learning technology platforms (e.g., LMS, Adobe Suite, Figma, Articulate 360, Vyond, Camtasia).
+ Excellent project coordination and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring all learning materials are accurate, accessible, and aligned with brand standards.
+ Analytical mindset, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
+ Collaborative approach, working effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful learning experiences.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
