The Associate Product Manager, Analytics, is responsible for overseeing the achievement of larger organizational goals by coordinating efforts for the product line. The incumbent in this role leads one or more data products with primary focus and accountability for strategy, design, development and implementation of the product. The Associate Product Manager, Analytics helps the organization stay on schedule, in scope and on an upward trajectory of success and growth by executing strategic initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Manages multiple strategic initiatives for the data product line through the entire lifecycle from initiation to delivery
+ Partners with project sponsors, business and technical subject matter experts to plan and develop scope, deliverables, work plan and timelines for new initiatives.
+ Develops product roadmap and strategy in alignment with organizational strategy and goals, implementing best practices and incorporating business needs and technology capabilities
+ Oversees product development process, coordinates with development teams and stakeholders
+ Assesses value and impact of each initiative for the product line, train users of product and solicit feedback for ongoing improvement
+ Analyzes, evaluates and overcomes program risks. Communicates schedules, dependencies, issues, and risks across teams and to stakeholders
+ Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
+ Competent level business acuity
+ Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques and methods
+ Competent knowledge and understanding of data metric or algorithm design/output and data visualization tools
+ Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the position.
+ Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
+ Excellent organization, listening, interpretation and project execution skills
+ Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate and influence at a higher level of leadership within the organization
+ Ability to train, coach, mentor and evaluate effectiveness of individuals either in a one-to-one or small group situation
+ Ability to establish and maintain rapport and gain the trust of others
+ Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and/or nationally up to 20% of the time; flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as needed
+ Spoken and written fluency in English
+ This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
+ BA/BS degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Management, Business or Healthcare Administration or related field required **OR** additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
+ A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in project/program or product management required; preferably in healthcare, technology or related industry
+ Certifications in relevant Product or Project Management practices: PMP, Certified Scrum Master, Program, Product and Portfolio Management highly desired
