Lockheed Martin's Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full\-time Early Career systems engineer\. In this role, you will contribute to the system design, development, and test of complex combat management capability threads as part of the Future Combat Systems team\. You will learn to use a model\-based systems engineering approach to define requirements, performance, functional allocation, and test plans of software components\. You will be working, as part of an agile team, on the design and integration and test of containerized software applications in a microservice based architecture with third party hardware and software\. The successful candidate is expected to work collaboratively with other engineers and leaders\. The candidate is also encouraged to bring creative and modern approaches to the system design and test approach\.
Must be a US Citizen\. This position will require a government security clearance\.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM related field

Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated interest and ability to learn new tools and technologies and successfully leverage those to successfully complete projects in a timely manner
• Experience with SysML modeling, i\.e\. Cameo
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
The base range for this position in New Jersey is $61,500 \- $110,909\.
