In this position…

+ You will bring your skills in IT architecture, data science and artificial intelligence to help shape the future of data and analytics at Ford.

+ The technologies and solutions in the data and analytics space is quickly changing so you will be required to be constantly learning and applying that knowledge in working with teams developing the next generation of intelligent systems.

+ As an architect you use your talents of seeing the portfolio as a whole as well as zooming in to the technologies and needs of individual product teams.

What you'll do…

+ Work closely with product teams in data and analytics to guide and shape solution architecture.

+ Develop reference implementations and proof of concepts exploring leading edge technologies and approaches in cloud, data engineering, data science and artificial intelligence.

+ Help teams resolve technical challenges and clear roadblocks by leveraging your knowledge of the space and the network of architects and engineers throughout Ford and our partners.

+ Develop and review solution architectures to identify opportunities for alignment with data and analytics opinionated stacks.

+ Create architecture strategies to support the vision, goals and opportunities identified by the business community.

The successful **candidate will have the following experiences and skills:**

Must have:

+ Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field

+ Experience in at least one cloud environment

+ 4 years minimum experience as a solutions architect, software developer, dev/ops engineer, cloud engineer or data scientist.

Even better, you may have…

+ Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

+ Knowledge of python and/or javascript

+ Knowledge of generative AI technologies and approaches

+ Knowledge of data management technologies such as GCP Big Query or PostgreSQL
