Description of Duties:
This is a grant funded position. -Manage the Pathology department's educational and research outreach programs -Develop, write, and submit grants and progress reports to NIH and other funding sources to support educational and research outreach programs -Write and publish manuscripts and abstracts relevant to the department's educational and research outreach programs -Work with program directors in the development of curriculum and teaching and mentoring of students -Lead efforts to track outcomes of current and past students in department's programs -Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts of students and mentors
Qualifications:
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree PREFERRED: PhD degree in a biomedical field. Experience in academic research, grant writing, and writing and editing articles for scientific journals. Strong organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
