About the role
As a GMP Technical Supervisor, you will lead a team of technicians responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of all systems and equipment within our current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) facility. You will be a key leader in our Engineering and Technical Services function, ensuring all maintenance activities are implemented with the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
This role requires a proactive approach to managing team performance, optimizing maintenance processes, and ensuring the reliability of critical utilities and production equipment to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
This is an onsite role Monday-Friday in Frederick, CO.
What you’ll do
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, overseeing their day-to-day activities, workload, and professional development.
+ Plan, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance work, including preventive maintenance (PMs), corrective actions, and system calibrations, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules.
+ Acts as the primary liaison between maintenance, production management, and Quality Assurance, facilitating communication, resolving conflicting priorities, and ensuring equipment-related issues are addressed promptly.
+ Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are accurately detailed in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
+ Take a leading role in root cause analysis for significant equipment failures or deviations, driving the implementation of effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
+ Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, improve equipment reliability, and reduce operational costs.
+ Maintain a deep understanding of facility systems, including HVAC, purified water systems, and to provide advanced technical guidance and support to your team.
+ Ensure the team's strict adherence to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other site-specific safety regulations.
+ Support regulatory inspections and audits by providing accurate maintenance records and a clear understanding of facility processes.
What you’ll need
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job related experience with at least 2 years in a GMP, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Prior supervisory or shift leader experience is required.
+ Advanced knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements related to facility and equipment maintenance nice to have.
+ Proven experience working in a controlled environment or cleanroom.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments.
+ Expertise in using a CMMS for maintenance scheduling, work order management, and documentation.
+ The ability to solve complex technical and operational problems with a strong focus on compliance and quality.
+ The innovative mentality to develop and implement improved maintenance methods and procedures.
+ The ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more, climbing stairs/ladders, and working in various physical positions.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation range is about $105,000 to $115,000 annual base salary based on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
