We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to serve a diverse infrastructure environment. The role spans Windows systems and Nutanix virtualization with Citrix VDI brokering. The successful candidate will provide direct support and ensure reliable delivery of IT services in a fast-paced, complex environment.
+ Support, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 11 and Windows Server environments (AD, Group Policy, file/print services, etc.).
+ Administer and optimize Nutanix clusters.
+ Install, terminate, label, and test fiber and twisted-pair cabling with adherence to TIA/EIA standards.
+ Troubleshoot complex system and virtualization issues independently and collaboratively.
+ Function as escalation point for complex incidents and root-cause analysis.
+ Ensure adherence to industry best practices, company and agency policies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Partner with network, security, and other teams to deliver reliable and secure infrastructure services.
+ Create and maintain thorough documentation of plans, system configurations, and operational processes and procedures.

Required SkillsRequired Experience Required Qualifications
+ Associate’s degree or higher in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience
+ Minimum of 2 to 8 years of related experience
+ Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
+ Must be able to pass CI Polygraph within 180 days of hire
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility and maintain program accesses as required
+ CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC2 SSCP, or equivalent baseline security certification
+ Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts, manage ticket queues, and coordinate cross-functional work
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
+ Experience administering Windows Server and Windows 10/11 in an enterprise environment with knowledge of Active Directory
+ Experience with virtualization administration and virtualization best practices. VMWare accepted but Nutanix preferred
+ Working knowledge of fiber-optic and twisted-pair cabling standards (TIA/EIA-568, 569)
+ Familiarity with modern server and workstation hardware including working knowledge of CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, memory, storage, and networking
+ Familiarity with datacenter cabling best practices (hot/cold aisle, cable trays, bend-radius requirements)
+ Must be able to independently lift 50 pounds of equipment
+ U.S. Citizenship Required
Preferred Qualifications
+ Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate certification (or equivalent).
+ Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or higher.
+ Experience with automation and configuration management (PowerShell, Ansible).
+ Familiarity with enterprise backup solutions, disaster recovery, and high-availability design.
+ Familiarity with SCCM for system deployment and management.
+ Cross-OS administration experience with Linux.
+ Virtualization experience with VMWare or Nutanix.
+ Active TS//SCI clearance with a current CI Scope Polygraph.
