    Description:

    POSITION PURPOSE

    + Join our surgical services nursing leadership team and help shape the future of patient care through strategic planning, team development, and operational excellence.

    + Nurse Manager opportunity in Ambulatory Surgery at the Outpatient Surgery Center in Livonia on the Schoolcraft campus.

    + The Registered Nurse Manager position will facilitate the day-to-day operations, lead, develop and represent the department in the service line initiatives. The registered professional is also accountable for the management of patient care during a designated time frame. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members.

    MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + Education: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

    + Licensure: Current Michigan License.

    + Certification: Current BLS.

    + Training and Experience:

    + Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.

    + Two or more years of Management and Surgical Services experience.

    + Ambulatory Surgery experience preferred

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    + Contribute to the development and execution of nursing strategic plans, change initiatives, and departmental decision-making.

    + Lead efforts to ensure high-quality, safe patient care through effective staffing, associate development, and performance management.

    + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage budgets, optimize resources, and support capital planning.

    + Monitor and improve key performance indicators including patient satisfaction, associate engagement, clinical outcomes, and workplace safety.

    + Champion shared leadership, succession planning, and a culture of coaching, retention, and professional growth.

    + Support the integration of healthcare technology and data systems that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

    + Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and uphold Trinity Health’s mission, values, and integrity programs.
