We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead all aspects of and guide our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, outstanding leadership skills, and a passion for developing high-quality software solutions with a focus on modern web technologies, especially React. This is a hybrid role working out of our Plano, TX corporate office. Responsibilities are as follows:

+ Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

+ Manage the software development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

+ Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define project goals and requirements.

+ Drive technical design and architecture discussions, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.

+ Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.

+ Facilitate team meetings, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups.

+ Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to guide team development.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

+ More than 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

+ Proficiency in programming languages such as [Java, Python, etc.].

+ Proficiency in customer facing application development and experience in UI/UX development.

+ Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).

+ Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and RESTful APIs.

+ Understanding of Salesforce financial services cloud, salesforce marketing cloud, Omni studio.

+ Strong experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and DevOps practices.

+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).

+ Previous experience in leading remote teams.
