Pay: Starting at $17.45 an hour.
We’re looking for a reliable, motivated Shift Lead / Head Cashier to help oversee daily operations during assigned shifts. In this key role, you’ll lead by example, delivering outstanding customer service, mentoring team members, and ensuring smooth store operations. If you’re adaptable, dependable, and ready to take initiative, we’d love to meet you. A Shift Lead is empowered to provide leadership and guidance and act as a role model and source of assistance during key shifts when management may be unavailable. They are the front line of the company to our customers, so exceptional customer service is critical. You are empowered to resolve customer issues and will work key shifts when the Store and Assistant Managers are not onsite.
Shift: Full-time 2:00pm - midnight.

What You’ll Do:
+ Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back
+ Perform cashier duties, including ringing up sales, applying promotions, and ensuring accuracy
+ Provide fast, friendly service and promote store products and services
+ Maintain store cleanliness, including sales floor, coolers, pumps, and foodservice areas
+ Stock, rotate, and label shelves, coolers, and displays
+ Manage food service and beverage programs to maximize sales and compliance
+ Check in vendors and communicate as needed
+ Lead completion of key store tasks and support special projects
+ Assist with schedule adjustments and communicate changes to the Store Manager
+ Partner with Store and Assistant Managers to coach and motivate team members
+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (alcohol, tobacco, Lotto, etc.)
+ Perform additional duties as assigned

+ Prior supervisory experience in foodservice or retail strongly preferred
+ Ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to change
+ Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol, tobacco)

Physical Requirements:
+ While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
+ Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
+ Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
