The Manager Workplace Strategy & Occupancy Planning is responsible for developing and implementing occupancy strategies to optimize workplace utilization and support Regeneron's growing organization and footprint. This role involves managing space planning processes, analyzing workplace data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The Manager will oversee occupancy planning initiatives and leverage data analytics to provide actionable insights, while maintaining a strong focus on employee experience and operational efficiency.
_This role is based at Global HQ in Tarrytown NY and requires working onsite 4 days per week, this is not open to remote or hybrid work_
As the Manager** **Workplace Strategy & Occupancy Planning** **- a typical day may include:
Occupancy Planning and Strategy:
+ Develop and execute short-term and long-term occupancy plans to align with organizational goals and workplace strategy.
+ Manage space allocation and utilization processes, ensuring efficient use of office spaces and resources and maintaining space standards and policies.
+ Collaborate with business units and leadership to understand their space requirements and propose solutions that support growth and productivity.
+ Partner with the Associate Director, Occupancy Planning, to implement strategic workplace initiatives and monitor effectiveness.
+ Continuously evaluate processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness in occupancy planning efforts.
+ Support workplace change management initiatives.
Workplace Data Analytics:
+ Analyze occupancy data, space utilization metrics, and employee feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
+ Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights and support decision-making processes.
+ Collaborate with the Workplace Data Analytics team to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
+ Monitor KPIs related to occupancy and workplace performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

+ Experience managing teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
+ Strong analytical skills with experience in workplace data analytics and reporting tools.
+ Proficiency in space planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, CAFM systems) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
+ Proficiency in change management.
+ Ability to build positive and professional relationships to influence at all levels of the organization.
+ Strong negotiation skills; ability to management conflict constructively and effectively.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and lead teams effectively.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Business Analytics, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in occupancy planning, space management, or workplace strategy roles; multi-campus, global, and laboratory occupancy planning experience is strongly preferred.

$113,100.00 - $184,700.00
