    WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

    In this role you will:

    + Lead the design, delivery, maintenance and improvement of operational risk / Business Continuity services

    + Engage with stakeholders to build strong rapport, understand business needs, and influence resilience decision-making

    + Translate complex quantitative and qualitative data sets into actionable insights

    + Leverage systems thinking to identify and close strategic gaps across data sets in the BC Tech Stack

    + Lead BC and cross-functional Quality Assurance (QA) projects to optimize data governance to effectively support and influence data driven, risk management decision-making

    + Assess and provide in-depth analysis (i.e. critical thinking) and feedback to correct and optimize data quality, as well as support program scalability and maturity

    + Ensure and perform pre-mortems to mitigate the risk of data points dependent on each other from corrupting data reporting

    + Lead QA cross-functional efforts to remediate data discrepancies and errors and establish processes and controls to mitigate risk of recurrence

    + Own and drive the review of BC work executed against frameworks and tools designed for QA to support providing data-driven insights and recommendations to business and enabling functions

    + Manage the BC Tech Stack to maximize QA while following a standardized approach aligned with BC frameworks and tools designed to execute work against

    + Provides direction, training and mentorship to teammates on how to optimize data quality by leveraging Lessons Learned and best practices

    WHAT YOU BRING

    + 6+ years business experience, preferably in roles related to Enterprise Risk Management, resilience, operational risk, quality assurance, Business Continuity or other disciplines

    + 6+ years of experience designing, executing, managing and improving Enterprise Risk Management, resilience, operational risk, and/or Business Continuity services

    + 6+ years of exposure to vast amounts of data to aggregate, analyze and validate

    + 6+ years of experience translating complex data sources, analytics and reporting into easy-to-understand concepts to influence operational risk decision-making

    + 6+ years of Project Management skills and strategic storytelling

    + Strong stakeholder management experience to understand business needs and translate them into service offerings

    + Strong leadership skills to drive results amidst ambiguity, complex team dynamics and tight deadlines

    + Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others to promote collaboration and problem solving

    + A systems thinker with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to proactively solve QA issues, perform Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), and mitigate risk of recurrence

    + Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a varied workload with multiple stakeholders

    REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor’s degree in: Enterprise Risk Management, Six Sigma, Lean and/or Business Continuity or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training.
