    As an Advanced Assembler at Weatherford in Wallingford, CT, you will perform electro-mechanical assembly tasks under direct supervision. You'll be responsible for assembling equipment according to engineered drawings while maintaining quality standards and safety protocols. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow established procedures.

    Hourly Rate: 25.00-30.00/hour

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform electro-mechanical assembly tasks of low complexity following established procedures

    • Assemble and test equipment according to engineered drawings or supervisor instructions

    • Inspect completed components for accuracy and functionality

    • Maintain an organized and clean work area

    • Properly care for company-supplied tools and equipment

    • Assist in developing new procedures and improving existing ones

    • Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for assembly

    • May operate stationary and moving overhead cranes

    • Read and interpret blueprints

    • Comply with all safety rules and company policies

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of assembly or manufacturing experience

    • IPC J-STD-001 soldering and IPC-A-620 certifications preferred

    • Electro-mechanical aptitude

    • Good verbal communication skills

    • Basic computer skills

    • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos in English
