    Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Building Operating Engineer to join their team. As a Building Operating Engineer, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting facility operations and emergency response. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Building Operating Engineer

    **Location:** Pittsburgh, PA

    **Shift:** 3rd shift - 11 pm to 7:30 am

    **Pay:** $30/hr.

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across various systems.

    + Perform emergency response duties as the Night Engineer, handling general troubleshooting, HVAC, and plumbing issues.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, and safety systems.

    + Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.

    + Maintain accurate records of readings, repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

    + Candidate will be the Night Engineer for emergencies. General troubleshooting, HVAC, Plumbing. Rest of time will be patching and painting.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + 6+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.

    + Valid DL.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

    + EPA Universal Certification.

    + Ability to analyze system operations and implement corrective actions effectively.
