    Our client, a leader in research and facility management, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting the maintenance and safety of the building systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Building Engineer

    **Location:** Andover, MA

    **Pay Range:** Compensation is based on experience and qualifications

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Monitor various building automation system computers to ensure systems operate within specified parameters such as temperature, humidity, static pressure, and electrical current.

    + Respond to system alerts by following documented procedures to protect equipment, personnel, and ongoing research activities.

    + Monitor energy efficiency of building systems and implement improvements where possible.

    + Assist electrical, mechanical, and control system technicians in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.

    + Oversee additional site systems, including fire monitoring and research-oriented systems like QUN, Schneider, Siemens, and EcoStructure.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Experience with building automation systems and related site systems.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

    + Ability to follow detailed procedures and documentation.

    + Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.

    + Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with no mandatory overtime.
