    Due to company growth we are now seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties.

     

    + Ideally, you will be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations

    + Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

    + Work closely with accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics and statistical reports, and key financial metrics

    + Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses

    + Possessing a knowledge of compliance, licensing, sales and business tax is valuable

     

    The salary range for this position is between $56-66k.

    Required Experience:

    Senior Accountant Qualifications:

    + Data Analysis experience

    + Strong familiarity with balance sheet reconciliations

    + 3-5+ years accounting experience

    + Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)

    + Leadership ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate across departments

    + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)

    + Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as QuickBooks

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
