Hunton Services Plumbing Division is seeking a Plumber Apprentice to join our growing team in Houston, Texas. This entry-level role is designed for individuals seeking to build a career in the plumbing and mechanical trades while gaining hands-on experience on commercial projects. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn from experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
+ Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
+ Work on heating, water, and drainage systems from rough-in through final installation.
+ Support journeyman plumbers and project teams with daily tasks, calculations, and documentation.
+ Research plumbing and HVAC equipment to support project requirements.
+ Communicate with vendors and participate in training or technical learning sessions.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following company safety standards.
+ Show initiative, reliability, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial plumbing environment OR pursuing a career in plumbing/mechanical systems with relevant technical training.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
+ Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and organizational skills.
+ You must hold a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Exposure to HVAC or mechanical systems.
+ Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or related design software.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Punctual, reliable, and able to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Plumber's Apprentice Registration Card through the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).
+ Maintain good standing by renewing the card annually.
