Job Summary

KeyBank is seeking a versatile and strategic copywriter to join our dynamic creative services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, compelling content for multiple segments, including consumer, small business, and wealth. The ability to write across a wide range of channels, including print, social media, email, and landing pages is a must.

As an individual contributor on the team, your work will help drive client conversion, engagement, and retention.

What You’ll Achieve

Collaborate with marketing managers, project coordinators, art directors, and designers to meet all deadlines and deliver exceptional content.

Provide brand and subject matter expertise to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

Present your work confidently to teammates and line-of-business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in advertising, marketing, journalism, communications, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years’ experience writing for the financial/banking industry or other regulated industry is preferred

• Portfolio that exemplifies a broad range of expertise across digital, social, and advertising content

• Basic understanding of web design and content hierarchy is preferred

• Experience using Word, AI writing tools, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based work and project management systems

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $75,000 to $85,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
