Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager – Fund & Property Accounting

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 + 15% Bonus

Your Role

As a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager, you’ll lead fund and property-level accounting, financial reporting, and compliance efforts. You’ll collaborate closely with the CFO and external partners to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency across the firm’s investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage monthly accounting for real estate assets, including variance analysis and cash flow reviews

+ Partner with fund administrators to produce quarterly investor reports, ensuring alignment with LPAs and waterfall models

+ Analyze fund and property performance metrics to support strategic decisions

+ Assist with quarterly valuations, financial modeling, and sensitivity analyses

+ Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external auditors and tax advisors

+ Oversee capital calls, distributions, and carry calculations for funds and co-investments

+ Support SEC compliance reporting and respond to ad hoc investor requests

+ Collaborate with operating partners and internal teams to maintain accurate financial data

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred

+ 3–6 years of experience in fund accounting, ideally with exposure to real estate investments

+ Solid understanding of GAAP and fair value accounting principles

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus

+ Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

+ Self-starter with a proactive mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
