Key Responsibilities

+ Network Infrastructure Management: Configure, maintain, and optimize Cisco routing and switching environments, specifically Layer 2/3 protocols, to ensure reliable and efficient operations.

+ Firewall Administration: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls to secure network traffic and ensure compliance with enterprise security policies.

+ Wireless Network Support: Oversee the setup and maintenance of wireless solutions, including products such as Meraki, Juniper, Palo Alto, Ruckus, or Aruba, to ensure superior connectivity across all business units.

+ SD-WAN Technology: Implement and support SD-WAN solutions to enhance network performance and connectivity in a complex, distributed enterprise environment.

+ Regulated Environment Operations: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP, etc.) by maintaining robust and well-documented network systems, particularly in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or similarly controlled industries.

+ Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Utilize advanced tools for monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving network performance issues, ensuring minimum downtime and peak performance.

+ Documentation & Collaboration: Create and maintain detailed network documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and train users as necessary to ensure seamless IT operations.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

+ A stable career history, having held no more than three positions in the last six years, demonstrating reliability and commitment.

+ Deep expertise in Cisco routing and switching, particularly Layer 2/3 technologies and protocols.

+ Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.).

+ Proficiency in working with wireless networking platforms such as Meraki, Juniper, Palo Alto, Ruckus, or Aruba.

+ Strong knowledge and experience with SD-WAN .

+ Prior experience working within regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceutical or manufacturing) and a thorough understanding of compliance-related challenges.
