Description

We are looking for an experienced 2 ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will play a key part in managing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a commitment to precision in handling accounts payable tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Review and validate vendor invoices to ensure proper documentation and approvals before processing payments.

• Prepare, print, and coordinate signatures for accounts payable checks, ensuring timely distribution.

• Address vendor inquiries promptly and professionally to foster positive supplier relationships.

• Organize and maintain accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and files according to established corporate standards.

• Provide necessary accounts payable data and reports to support monthly financial closings.

• Conduct account analysis and prepare reconciliations as needed.

• Perform accurate coding and data entry for invoices to ensure seamless processing.

• Assist in managing check runs and other payment operations efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable processes.s

Requirements • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounts payable role.

• Proficiency in mathematics and familiarity with accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to problem-solve and analyze financial data effectively.

• Outstanding reading comprehension and communication skills.

• Proven track record of meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

• Commitment to delivering superior customer service in all interactions.
