    Description

    About the Role:

    We are looking for a seasoned Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Windows/Microsoft environments and hands-on Azure cloud experience. This role offers a hybrid schedule in Houston and requires a strong technical background to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise systems across on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design, implement, and support Windows server infrastructure, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services.

    + Deploy, manage, and optimize solutions in Microsoft Azure, including IaaS and PaaS offerings.

    + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across on-premises and cloud environments.

    + Implement security and compliance best practices across enterprise systems.

    + Support backup, disaster recovery, and high availability initiatives.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

    + Document system configurations, processes, and changes.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + 7+ years of experience in systems engineering/administration in Microsoft/Windows environments.

    + Strong expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related technologies.

    + Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

    + Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.

    + Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and security principles.

    + Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, Solutions Architect, or equivalent).

    + Experience with hybrid cloud integrations.

    + Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
