    Now Hiring: Patient Benefit Representative

     

    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a **Patient Benefit Representative** to join our client’s growing team in Cary, NC. This is an onsite role where you will play a critical part in ensuring patients receive timely access to therapies by coordinating prior authorizations and supporting pharmacy operations.

     

    **Location** : Onsite | Cary, NC 27513

    **Pay Rate** : $20–$25/hour (top rate available for CPhT-certified candidates with 2+ years retail pharmacy & customer service experience)

    **Schedule** : Monday – Friday | 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM EST (1-hour unpaid lunch)

    What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)

    • Answer inbound calls from patients, manufacturers, and insurance providers

    • Make outbound calls to patients, providers, and insurers regarding cases

    • Acquire and submit clinical documentation for prior authorization approvals

    • Track and follow up on authorization requests to ensure timely responses

    • Process pharmacy claims in the management system and maintain accurate records

    • Follow standard operating procedures consistently for compliance and accuracy

    • Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet patient needs

    • Handle 25–30 calls per day with accurate documentation and strong attention to detail

     

    What We’re Looking For

     

    Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred

     

    2+ years of retail pharmacy experience and 2+ years of customer service experience

     

    Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills

     

    Compassionate, patient-focused, and a respectful team player

     

    Able to work independently with minimal guidance

     

    Comfortable using Microsoft Teams & Outlook

     

    Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
