    Job Title: Manual Mill Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Manual Mill Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience operating drill press machinery. Employees in this role will be tasked with general labor duties, cleaning work areas, utilizing hand and power tools, sanding/grinding materials, and operating a manual mill machine. Candidates that have experience with hand and power tools, sander, grinder, manual labor, and experience as a fabricator are a great fit for this role.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate manual mill machine

    + Perform general labor duties

    + Clean and maintain work areas

    + Utilize hand and power tools efficiently

    + Sand and grind materials as needed

    + Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings

    + Set up and troubleshoot machinery

    + Perform deburring and fabrication tasks

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience as a Manual Mill Operator

    + Proficiency in operating a manual mill machine

    + Ability to read a tape measure accurately

    + Capability to read and interpret blueprints/shop drawings

    + Experience in setting up and troubleshooting machinery

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ year of experience sanding/grinding steel components

    + 1+ year of experience within a steel shop

    + 1+ year of experience as a fabricator

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large shop/manufacturing environment that is non-climate controlled, with dock doors open and fans to control temperature in warmer seasons. The position is on the 1st shift, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available starting at 6 AM. Pay rate is determined based on the candidate's needs and years of experience in the field.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Galion, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
