    Job Title: Machinist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled machinist to join our team in a dynamic job shop environment. Our facility boasts 26 machines and a dedicated team of about 45 employees. The shop is clean and offers ample opportunities for growth and learning, particularly in setups. We manufacture parts that are generally no larger than a bowling pin. We are looking for talented individuals for 1st shift machinist and lathe operator roles in the firearm and agriculture industries.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and manage CNC lathes and mills efficiently.

    + Perform setups and turning operations with precision.

    + Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accuracy in production.

    + Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting new ideas or methods.

    + Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the work area.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating CNC lathes and mills.

    + Ability to perform setups with at least 1 year of experience.

    + Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.

    + 1+ year of experience in turning operations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with Mazak equipment.

    + Experience in machining is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a very clean and well-lit shop. Each machinist is provided with their own tool bench and machine. The company emphasizes punctuality and reliability. The first shift runs from 5 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays as needed.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BECKER, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
