    Entry-level Packaging Inspector

    Job Description

    As a Packaging Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.     Responsibilities

    + Perform limited and repetitive visual, mechanical, functional, and/or inspection/packaging of products.

    + Establish incoming inspection or packaging procedures and protocols.

    + Ensure products meet functional specifications and are cosmetically acceptable for customer satisfaction.

    + Communicate questionable or non-conforming products to the supervisor for review.

    + Perform functional tests and packaging techniques using specialized instructions.

    + Scan items and enter data to complete pass or fail reports for products or jobs.

    + Assist in solving problems, addressing quality issues, and creating or updating work instructions.

    + Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with packaging, assembly, and production processes.

    + Strong knowledge in labeling and packaging techniques.

    + 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Ability to comprehend detailed instructions and read work orders.

    + Requires the ability to move around and stand all day when necessary.

    + Must work well within a team environment.

    + Maintain work area and equipment in order and clean condition, following prescribed safety regulations.

    + Flexibility to work additional hours when required.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.62/hr.
