Job Title: Process Technician
Job Description
This is a 2nd shift Process Technician position, with working hours from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The role involves overseeing and managing the start-up of presses, verifying processes, and writing up parameters. Additionally, the technician will be tasked with testing parts, handling mold changeovers, troubleshooting sensors and basic wiring, and maintaining process controls on presses, molds, and equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Check the schedule on the board and determine which presses need to be started.
+ Verify processes and write up parameters.
+ Test and run assigned parts.
+ Answer calls and assist with mold changes.
+ Troubleshoot sensors and basic wiring as needed.
+ Set up and maintain process controls according to customer specifications.
+ Resolve manufacturing processes and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
+ Suggest and implement improvement plans to prevent equipment failures.
+ Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production quality through problem-solving and continuous improvement.
+ Work on secondary equipment such as sonic welders, spin welders, vibration welders, hot plate welders, leak testers, and various poke yokes.
+ Manage 12 total presses ranging from 950-3000 tons, primarily Cincinnati, with some Toshiba and Mitsubishi.
+ Handle minor edits to touchpoints on 6-axis robots at each machine.
Essential Skills
+ 4 years of experience in a plastic injection facility.
+ Proficiency in mold changes and process verification.
+ Experience as a Process Technician for at least 4 years.
+ Complete understanding of process verification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working from a mold setting position to a process tech role.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
